This is the power of alignment – aligning leaders and culture with top business opportunities to improve efficiency, innovate new products and services, adapt to shifting market trends, and leverage emerging technologies. In this report we highlight insights drawn from over 1,700 business leaders from 71 countries. These leaders highlight three strengths and competencies that work together to ensure success – Results Orientation, Emotional Intelligence, and Customer Centricity. They understand the importance of people in achieving success. They know the value of mastering “emotional intelligence” to be a strong and effective leader. We continue to focus on the importance of culture –what we consider the talent glue. A strong inclusive culture can be the differentiator when it comes to attracting the talent you need, retaining the talent you want, accessing diverse, hard-to-get talent, and hiring change-ready leaders. We also know the importance of trust and communication when improving culture. This year, business leaders identified trust as the key to improving culture, soaring from 7th place to 1st.
